Randolph County Commission Road Improvements

Separate sealed bids for the Randolph County Commission County Roads 17 & 30 Improvements Project will be received by the Randolph County Commission at 12 East Broad St, Wedowee, AL 36278 until 2:00 P.M. CST, July 19, 2023 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The plans shall be constructed in accordance with the Alabama Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2022 edition. See notes on plans. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be requested via email at randolphcounty@centurytel.net or picked up at the following location: Randolph County, Alabama, Engineering Department, 108 Woodland Avenue, W., Wedowee, AL 36278 by appointment only. The work is a road resurfacing project and will generally include approximately 102,000 square yards of Bituminous Treatment JG (with Polymer Additive) and related appurtenances. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.

No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

A non-mandatory Pre-bid Meeting will be held at 2:00 PM CST on July 12, 2023 at the Randolph County Commission, 12 East Broad St, Wedowee, AL 36278.
