Progress Rail Locomotive “PRL” maintains a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise

(DBE) Program as a Transit Vehicle Manufacturer of new, repower and overhaul locomotives on Federal Transit Administration (FTA) financially assisted transit vehicle procurements. In accordance with the DBE regulations at 49 CFR Part 26, PRL is presenting its proposed DBE goal of 2.1 % in FTA assisted transit vehicle procurements for Federal Fiscal Year 2024 (October 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024 ). The rationale for the 2.1 % DBE goal is presented in our proposed goal and methodology. PRL welcomes your comments and suggestions, for the next 30 days regarding the goal and methodology and to share the availability of minority businesses, women businesses, DBEs and non-DBEs who may be willing, ready and able to submit locomotive related sub-procurements to PRL. PRL will accept comments and suggestions to our proposed DBE goal through July 15, 2023.
