Piling Instillation

The Auburn University Marine Extension and Research Center is seeking a qualified firm to install 20 pilings in two (2) locations within Little Lagoon (Baldwin County) for an oyster restoration project. 18 pilings shall be 20′ long, shall be driven 1O’ into the seafloor, and be 12″ diameter at the top. Two (2) pilings*, one each in Western Little Lagoon Group (Piling 13) and Eastern Little Lagoon Group (Piling 20), shall be 25′ long, driven 1O’ into the seafloor, and be 12″ diameter at the top. Coordinates for the pilings are known and permits in hand from ACOE and USCG. The installation schedule is ASAP. Partners must be currently registered with SAM.gov and comply with USCG notifications as outlined in permits.
