ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed bids for 2025 Sidewalks and Drainage Project, CDBG Project No. LR-CM-PF-24-005 will
be received by The City of Moundville at the office of McGiffert and Associates, LLC, 2814 SƟllman
Boulevard, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 unƟl 2:00 o’clock p.m. CST on July 24, 2025 and then at said office publicly
opened and read aloud.
The InformaƟon for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, SpecificaƟons, and Form of Bid Bond,
Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the office of the
engineer. Any quesƟons concerning the project shall be directed to the Engineer, McGiffert and Associates,
LLC.
Principal QuanƟƟes are as follows: Approximately 1,500 s.y. concrete sidewalks, 840 l.f. storm pipe, 1,800
l.f. concrete flume, street lighƟng, and various other appurtenances. The approximate project cost is
$500,000.
Copies may be obtained at the office of McGiffert and Associates, LLC located at 2814 SƟllman Boulevard,
Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 upon payment of $50.00 for each set. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such
set promptly and in good condiƟon, will be refunded their payment, and any non-bidder upon so returning
such a set will be refunded $0.00.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informaliƟes or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the condiƟons
provided in the InformaƟon for Bidders.
AƩenƟon of bidders is parƟcularly called to the requirements as to condiƟons of employment to be
observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, SecƟon 3, Segregated Facility, SecƟon
109 and E.O. 11246.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within forty-five (45) days aŌer the actual date of the opening thereof.
A Pre-bid MeeƟng will be held on July 17, 2025 at 10:00 am at the office of McGiffert and Associates,
LLC, 2814 SƟllman Boulevard, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. Bidder’s aƩendance is not required, but
encouraged.
