Connect with new procurement opportunities and resources, speed-dating style.

By now you know that connecting with contracting officers and getting some one-on-one time with the right people at the right agencies / companies is key to growing your contracting business.  (And if you didn’t know that, please call one of our procurement specialists immediately!)   Our Matchmaker events give you a series of 15-minute one-on-one sessions with government and corporate buyers from across the state and Gulf Coast.  How simple is it?  We’ll let you know which agencies, primes, and corporations are attending, and you simply let us know which ones you want to meet.  We’ll make the appointments, you do what you do best: pitch your company.

Sign-ups are done on a first-come, first-served basis.  We reserve the right to deny a meeting request; If NASA is looking for jet propulsion technology, and you have a lawn care service, no one would walk away from that meeting very happy. We value the time investment that our ‘buyers’ make, and we want to connect small businesses with the contracting personnel most likely to buy that product or service. Does NASA have grass? Yes. Does the buyer at the next matchmaker have anything to do with procuring that service? Possibly not.

If you are just starting up, or not quite ready to do business with the big names in public and private procurement, the Matchmaker can connect you with smaller companies for potential contracting opportunities and teaming agreements.  Plus,  most of our matchmaking events include a training component or presentation at the beginning of the program.  You can hear directly from experienced contractors, and from the contracting officers.  If you think Matchmakers are just about mingling, you are in the wrong spot; these are intentional and focused meetings. We provide training before the matchmaker, and can help with follow-up afterwards. Our certified procurement specialists are on hand to provide you with expert guidance in the world of contracting, and can even set you up with additional services your business may need to pursue government contracting, like accounting and bonding.  For a list of upcoming matchmaker events in your area, please refer to our calendar, or call us today.
