HABD seeks partners in filling vacant project-based units under HABD’s subsidy standards. Under our rental assistance programs, HABD signs a Housing Assistance Payment contract with owners for specific rental units with a contract that can last up to 20 years, with annual renewals subject to funding. HABD provides assistance as long as eligible households occupy the units. Project-based units must meet program standards throughout the contract term.
