Bid-Matching Service & Matchmaker Events
Once an APEX client has achieved the minimum requirements to become “procurement ready, ” they can receive a no-cost subscription to an electronic Bid-Match Service that matches opportunities available based specifically on your geographic and specialty criteria. We scan federal, state, & local notices boards; opportunities based on the search criteria you provide are found for you and delivered promptly. * BidMatch service is only available to companies in Alabama.* Note: The BidMatch service does not scan every opportunity posted to every website. Business development activities are the responsibility of the business, not the APEX team. BidMatch is a great tool in every company’s toolbelt. Some states and agencies post their bids on a third-party website that charges bidders to access the content.
Simplify your marketing efforts by attending a matchmaker event and meet face-to-face with buyers. The events bring hundreds of small business suppliers together to meet one-on-one with government purchasing officers to discuss specific contracting opportunities.
What Doesn’t the APEX Accelerator do?
- APEX Advisors cannot provide general business training or financial assessments, including but not limited to assistance with general business plans or marketing plans. However, APEX coordinates with other entities providing said services (including the Alabama SBDC); referrals and joint events are common.
- APEX Advisors are not responsible for running your business for you.
- APEX Advisors do not guaranty that your company will win a contract award; we can show you how to compete, but at the end of the day, the business owner is responsible for ensuring that they have a competitive product or service.
- APEX Advisors do not exist to operate as an outsourced government contracting division for your business.
- The BidMatch Service is offered as-is for contract-ready clients. The system is only able to report opportunities from websites that meet specific criteria; not all opportunities will be captured by the system.
