Work of the Project includes the removal and replacement of existing 2”, 6”, and 8” gate valves, the removal and replacement of 2” tapping valves and sleeves, and the removal and replacement of 1” and 2” water meters within the Town of Carrollton’s drinking water distribution system. The Project work also includes the installation of new 2”, 6”, and 8” gate valves, the installation of new 6” and 8” insertion valves, the installation of new 6” fire hydrant gate valves, the installation of new fire hydrant assemblies, related components, and all necessary appurtenances as seen in the project plans and specifications.
