Separate sealed bids for Residential Water Service Connections, Water Improvements Project,
County Road 26 and County Road 16 – Installation Only will be received by the Chilton County Commission
at the office of Chilton Water Authority located at 19246 U.S. Highway 31 in Clanton, Alabama until 10:00
a.m., local time, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond,
Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following locations:
Chilton Water Authority, 19246 U.S. Highway 31, Clanton, AL 35045
The Cassady Company, Inc. 4700 Highway 69 North, Northport AL 35473
Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND PLANS are available digitally and in hard copy
formats from The Cassady Company, Inc. upon request. The cost for a hard copy will be $200.00/set,
which includes printing, reproduction, shipping and handling by U.S. Mail, etc. This fee is nonrefundable. It is incumbent upon prospective bidder to ensure that The Cassady Company, Inc. has their
correct email and contact information on the plan holders list for addenda and other correspondence.
Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions
provided in the Information for Bidders.
Registration in SAM (System for Award Management), www.sam.gov, is required to participate in
ADECA projects and other Federal funding programs. No contract will be executed without a company’s
active status is sam.gov.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be
observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109
and E.O. 11246.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., local time,
at the office of Chilton Water Authority located at 19246 U.S. Highway 31, Clanton, Alabama 35045.
