ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Separate sealed bids for the construction of Greene County Water & Sewer Board, Greene County Water Project, Project No. FS010431-01, Water Meters Replacement will be received at 439 Black Bears Way, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401 until 2:00 PM, C.D.S.T. January 13, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The Notice to Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, and other Contract Documents are open to public inspection at the office of SENTELL ENGINEERING, INC., 639 Black Bears Way, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Copies may be obtained by calling Tuscaloosa Blueprint at (205) 752-9825 and requesting the plans and contract documents upon a payment of One Hundred and Thirty Dollars ($ 130.00). All checks shall be made payable to Tuscaloosa Blueprint. No refunds will be given for plans.

The project is generally described as follows: Replace existing water meters for the Greene County Water and Sewer Authority’s water distribution system.

The Owner requires the project to be completed in 200 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed.

The Owner will award the project to the overall, lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner requires that all vendors include an estimated delivery date for each item. The owner reserves the right to take delivery date(s) into consideration during the award process.

Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier’s check in the amount of a sum no less than five (5) percent of the Bid Price.

A pre-bid conference for the project will be held on January 6, 2025, at 2:00 o’clock _PM_C.D.S.T. located at 639 Black Bears Way, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.

All Bids must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope:

No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids.
